Can i tattoo with pityriasis rosea?

Ok I've had the rash for about a month and a half and within the week have started to do the tanning advice I've heard about and it's working wonderfully. However the herald patch(mother patch) is close BUT NOT ON where I would like to get the tattoo. It is clearing up as well, would it be safe to get the tattoo? any additional info on pityrasis rosea would be awesome too! :)
