I want to go to this concert but I don't want my parents to go!?

My friend said she's going to ask her parents when she gets home later.. hopefully her parents say yes. I'm 13 years old and the band is like 21 year old guys so usually all the girls that go are older than me! It's a free concert in NYC at Macy's Herald Square and I dont want my dad to go home and then pick me up cause what if i get lost in NYC! That's not a good thing. But I dont want my dad to stand next to me at the concert.. that's weird. The time is from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.. what should i do?
