Question about Acupuncture and God's healing hand?

Acupuncture does not inflict pain on anyone. Pain only teaches you how to put up with more pain, and if you believe that is what your god is about, then go for it. I suppose a trial of some kind could test the strength of your convictions. That's why I think some religions should have to face the lions den in some non literal way.
