U.S. evangelicals push for death penalty for homosexuality in Uganda. Why do atheists care what others believe?

Is this a troll question? Obviously, nobody deserves to die. We have no right to judge anyone. Just because I don't support or approve of homosexuality doesn't mean I'd tolerate people being put to death for it.
